✨ The Idea Behind dearyou
dearyou is a modern confession platform designed to let users send anonymous messages to someone they care about—filled with heartfelt words, unspoken thoughts, and sometimes… a favorite song that says it all. Whether it's a love letter, a thank-you note, or a long-overdue apology, dearyou lets the message speak loud and clear—accompanied by the perfect Spotify track.

This isn’t your typical web app. dearyou combines the best of modern web development tools to create a seamless, interactive, and elegant user experience:
✅ Laravel (Backend)
At its core, Laravel powers the backend—handling routing, data management, authentication, and all server-side logic with ease and scalability.
✅ Inertia.js + Vue.js (Frontend)
Instead of building a traditional SPA or bloated API-driven app, I chose Inertia.js as the glue between Laravel and Vue.js. This allowed me to build dynamic Vue components while maintaining the simplicity of full-stack Laravel routing and controller logic. No context switching. No complicated state management. Just smooth, fast, and intuitive UI.
✅ Inspira UI
For the design system, I used Inspira UI, a sleek Tailwind-based component library that provided consistent visual language and fast prototyping. Clean cards, modals, gradients, and type hierarchy—all wrapped in a soft, emotionally resonant aesthetic.
✅ Spotify API Integration
Music is emotion. With the Spotify API, users can search for and attach real Spotify tracks to their confession—making the message even more powerful. Real-time song previews, cover images, and track metadata are fetched directly via OAuth-secured API calls.
